Sarajevo Dnevni Avaz in Bosnian/croatian/serbian 18 Jul 06 p 4
[Report by "E.S.": "Death Threats Against Naser Oric and Haris Silajdzic"]
A "group of Bosnian Serbs from Bratunac" now living in Chicago sent a letter to Dnevni Avaz containing death threats directed against Naser Oric [wartime Srebrenica commander indicted for war crimes], Haris Silajdzic [Party for B-H leader], and Ejup Ganic [ex-vice president of Bosnia].
We hereby publish the entire text of the letter, or rather the corrected version, because the original is full of grammatical errors.
"We want to make it clear to criminal Oric that we will take the law into our own hands, because the Hague tribunal has failed to serve justice. This is a message from us who survived it all in 1992-1993. Tell him that we will not spare even his child, in the same way he treated our children. We have our people there to do away not only with Oric, but also with Ganic and Silajdzic, who has been defaming the Serb Republic for years and is working toward its disappearance. But, he will disappear much sooner than the Serb Republic," says the letter dated 7 July, which arrived from the United States at our editorial office yesterday.
