Freed Jordan MP vows jihad against Jews, Americans:

Jordanian MP Muhammad Abu-Faris, one of two Islamist MPs pardoned by King Abdallah after being convicted for offering condolences to the relatives of Iraq's Al-Qa'idah chief Abu-Mus'ab al-Zarqawi, has vowed to continue jihad against Americans and Jews. Parliamentary authorities recommended he be banned from parliament. Speaking on Al-Jazeera, he said: "Enlightening the Ummah and mobilizing it for jihad and combat against the Jews and Americans wherever they occupy Muslim lands is the height of political action. We practiced this when we were MPs; we did so before we became MPs and we will continue to do so when we are out of Parliament." (Al-Jazeera TV 2006gmt 30 Sept)
