[Report by Vladimir Poletayev: "Explosions Based on the Phone Call of 'Werewolves'?" -- taken from hml version of source provided by ISP]

Terrorists have precise knowledge of the movements of motor vehicles carrying policemen.

Yesterday about 1300 hours, another powerful explosion rang out in the capital of Dagestan. Four Stavropol policemen who were in a bus passing the site of the explosion were injured.

One gets the impression that the terrorists know in advance where in Makhachkala motor vehicles carrying policemen may travel. Explosions ring out both in the center of the city and on the outskirts, as happened yesterday, right at the moment when the Ministry of Internal Affairs special transport appears. Colonel Abdulmanap Musayev, the chief of the press service of the republic police department, told the Rossiyskaya Gazeta correspondent that the PAZ [Pavlovskiy Bus Plant] bus carrying 14 OMON [special-purpose police detachment] officers of the Stavropol Kray GUVD [Main Internal Affairs Directorate] was on its way to the city of Kaspiysk to help the local city department perform anti-terrorist measures -- to catch fighters. As we learned from exclusive sources, no more than 7-10 officers of the transport service and the crime police of Dagestan's Ministry of Internal Affairs knew the motor vehicle's route. Does that mean that one of their own "leaked" the information about the bus' movement to the bandits? The Internal Security Directorate is already investigating this situation. Specialists from the FSB [Federal Security Service] have also joined in. And at the prosecutor's office, a criminal file was opened based on the fact of the explosion.
