Russian Prosecutors Confirm Madrasah Possessed Wahhabi Literature

Buguruslan (Orenburg Region), 16 August: Expert analysis has established that literature seized from a madrasah in Buguruslan last autumn is extremist in nature, the press service of the Orenburg Region prosecutor's office told Russian news agency ITAR-TASS today.

On the basis of expert findings, the Buguruslanskiy interdistrict prosecutor's office has opened a criminal case under the heading "incitement of ethnic, racial and religious hatred".

Prosecutors said that explosives and Arab and Russian literature had been found in the Al-Furkon madrasah. The books were sent for expert analysis, which took several months.
