A clash broke out between the supporters of the terrorist organization PKK [Workers Party of Kurdistan] and the police in Syria's Ayn al-Arab town on the Turkish-Syrian border. The Arab Human Rights Organization declared that the Syrian police intervened against a demonstration by PKK supporters who were marking the 21st anniversary of the organization's launching of armed attacks. Some 30 terrorist organization members who damaged many vehicles and shops were arrested during the clash, in which the police used tear gas. The Syrian officials, in turn, failed to issue a statement on the subject.
